1/35 WC-54 Ambulance Plastic model kit of a US WWII Jeep as an ambulance vehicle with 285 parts. Length built 141 mm. The most important ambulance in the US Army during World War II was the WC-54, based on the WC series, with a payload of 3/4 tonnes. The chassis had an extended wheelbase and a closed body with a capacity for 4-7 wounded plus paramedics and drivers. In the period 1942-1944, 29,500 vehicles of this type were manufactured. The WC-54 was used in the US Army until 1953 - the Korean War. In many armies of allied countries, the WC-54 remained in use until the 1960s.
