Sometimes we have to wait and wait and wait for what we want, don't we?This updated version of "Waiting Twenty Years: Hiking on The Appalachian Trail for the First Time at Sixty-Three", includes a video featuring a general facsimile of the events which delayed this author for several decades, from pursuing his dream of hiking on The Appalachian Trail, not to mention many other goals, sometimes said, even, to be "dreams".Sometimes we have to wait and wait and wait for what we want, don't we?For instance, this author had hoped to hike The Appalachian Trail when he was forty-three.However, his earlier time as a jogger and parachute jumper had taken a toll on his knees, and his neck was also aching.Over a span of time, he needed forty sessions of physical therapy for those knees, and twenty more for his neck. But he had no insurance for this physical therapy.
