Plate Magnets are used to protect processing equipment and are typically installed in gravity-fed angled chutes and spouts, or vertical chutes which have been humped for cross-mounted plates. Plate magnets effectively retain larger pieces of tramp metal such as nuts, bolts, wrenches etc. These plate magnets are cleaned by dropping the magnet away from the chute and manually wiping the surface of the plate magnet clean. MPI Plate Magnets are engineered for easy installation, low maintenance, and long service life. They come complete with latches and mounting hardware.
