These white glow sticks covered with diagonal red lines are affordable & fun at night parades & holiday parties. 6" Candy Cane Glow Sticks contain optional string lanyards if you'd like to wear your Glow Pendant like a necklace. CRACK & SHAKE them up to activate! Once they start glowing, Glow Sticks last all night. Peak brightness lasts 5 to 8 hours; depends on how dark the environment you're using them in. They will fade eventually yet some colors emit some light for up to 36 hours. Can't use your Glow Bracelets all in one night? No problem, they have a shelf life of 2 years prior to activation. Inside the glow bracelets are two chemicals (non-toxic!) that emit light or glow when they are mixed together - this is why you must crack and shake to activate. When you bend it for the first time, you break an inner tube which mixes the two chemicals together. Just shake it up and presto -- it starts glowing like magic!
